11: the best dream i had was one where i was older, living in my own house. it was everything i’d ever wanted, it had nice floors and crisp white sheets but little plants in the window as well. i woke up next to my husband and the sun was coming through the window, the smell of basil wafting through the air from the window garden. it wasn’t anything special after that, i just got up and opened the window out over the city where i watched people as i sipped my morning tea, but the dream itself was just really lovely
12: i don’t often have bad dreams, and i can seldom remember them for long after ah
Did you always know you'd always go into medicine?
i guess it was always nursing or medicine for a while but i settled with nursing for two major reasons: i believe doctors who do nursing prior to medicine generally are more approachable and are more understanding of the work nursing staff have to deal with; plus i started nursing while i was still in school, so i basically finished school and went straight into working as a nurse.
i might go on and do medicine like my friend’s mother and my uncle did but that’s for later, i’ll take it one step at a time I think!
